Mango Banana Green Popsicles (A Healthy, Kid-Friendly Treat)

healthy green popsicles

If your kids are constantly asking you for a treat, this is one you can feel really good about handing them on repeat. Honestly, theyโ€™re wholesome enough to pass for breakfast โ€” and what kid wouldnโ€™t love that? Theyโ€™re naturally sweet, perfectly creamy, and made with simple ingredients, with a boost of protein from the yogurt and a little handful of greens your kids will never notice.

These mango banana popsicles are one of those easy wins: blend, pour, freeze, done. The Greek yogurt gives them that creamy, almost froyo-like texture, while the banana and mango add just the right amount of sweetness. And the spinach? Totally invisible, but adds a little extra boost that makes your mama heart feel good. Perfect for warm afternoons, post-activity snacks, or a fun addition to your weekly meal prep.

And to make these extra fun for the kids, I highly suggest using some cute popsicle molds! I love this dinosaur mold, this classic shape, these ice cream cone pops, and this unicorn mold.

Ingredients

makes 8 popsicles (depending on size of molds)

1 ripe banana
ยฝ cup frozen mango
ยฝ cup Greek yogurt (I like Painterland Sisters lactose-free yogurt)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed (depending on how ripe your fruit is).
  3. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds. Insert sticks and freeze for at least 4โ€“6 hours, or until fully set.
  4. To remove, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds and gently pull out.

These are the kind of snacks that check all the boxes: easy, nourishing, and something your kids will actually get excited about. Keep a batch in the freezer and youโ€™ll always have a go-to treat ready to go!
