Whipped Feta & Greek Yogurt Dip with Roasted Tomatoes

whipped feta dip with roasted tomatoes

If you’re looking for a delicious appetizer that feels elevated but is secretly so simple, this dip is it. I made it once for my girlfriends, and it quickly became the appetizer they requested for every girls’ night after. It’s creamy, bright, a little salty, and topped with jammy, garlicky roasted tomatoes that burst with flavor. Top it with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and some basil, and you have a dish that feels restaurant-worthy that comes together with minimal effort.

This recipe is part of my new 10-part Easy Hosting Playbook series over on Instagram — where I’m sharing simple, go-to recipes and ideas that help you host in a way that feels effortless but still really special. Think: minimal prep, big payoff, and recipes you can actually pull off while juggling everything else. Make sure to follow along!

I love serving this when hosting because it looks beautiful on a platter, but it comes together with minimal effort. It’s one of those recipes that feels impressive without actually requiring much work (my favorite kind). Plus, it’s packed with protein thanks to the feta and Greek yogurt, so it’s a little more satisfying than your average dip. And the caramelized, juicy tomatoes just take it over the top! Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Add the cherry tomatoes and minced garlic to a baking dish or sheet pan. Drizzle with avocado oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat. Roast for 20–25 minutes, until the tomatoes are soft and slightly caramelized.
  3. While the tomatoes are roasting, add the Greek yogurt, feta, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning to a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Spread the whipped feta onto a serving plate or shallow bowl.
  5. Once the tomatoes have cooled slightly, spoon them (and the juices) over the feta dip.
  6. Finish with freshly chopped or torn basil, a drizzle of balsamic, and some cracked pepper.
  7. Serve with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or veggies and enjoy.

A gorgeous dip that comes together in just 20 minutes, feels effortlessly special, and is so delicious it’ll have everyone asking you for the recipe before the night’s over — you will be making it on repeat!
