Recipes & Decor for a Cozy & Delicious Valentine’s Day In

01.30.2026

Whether youโ€™re hosting a romantic night in, planning a Galentineโ€™s get-together with friends, or somewhere in between, celebrating at home can feel just as specialโ€”if not moreโ€”than going out. I love keeping things cozy, intentional, and a little elevated, without overcomplicating the menu or spending the entire day in the kitchen. This is what I’d do if I were hosting a Valentineโ€™s or Galentineโ€™s night that feels festive, relaxed, and genuinely fun to pull together.

The Drinks

Especially for a Galentine’s celebration, I love setting out a floral ice bucket filled to keep wine and bubbly cold while looking gorgeous and festive. It’s so easy to do with this ice mold and you can get creative with all of the flowers you add in.

The Appetizer: A Big Beautiful Cheese Board

A loaded cheese board is always a yes. Think a mix of cheeses, crackers, fruit, vegetables, dips, and a little something sweet. Itโ€™s perfect for grazing while everyone first arrives and chats, and it doubles as dรฉcor when styled on a wooden board or marble slab.

Here’s are some tips for making the perfect cheese board.

The Main: Bolognese Stuffed Spaghetti Squash

For the main dish, bolognese stuffed spaghetti squash is cozy, hearty, and feels special without being heavy. Itโ€™s a great make-ahead option, naturally gluten-free, and plated individually it feels very โ€œdinner partyโ€ without being fussy.
